Merewether Fats & the Kings Biscuit Blues Show

For those who love original Delta Mississippi style blues (the origins of our swing music) keep a look out for this new band that has just formed up, and played up a storm at the Criterion Hotel recently. Mark Salter is the lead man, playing a very cool guitar and harmonica, and with some songs, if you closed your eyes, you would think you were right there in New Orleans. Three of his mates make up the rest of the group adding variety and depth to the music presented.
  The drummer, Sticks McGuirk was sooo smooth with his version of “summertime & the livin is easy”. This Band does not play fast swing or rockabilly music, nor are all of their songs suitable to dance to. Their music is a passionate, smooth listening experience. But when the song is right, clinch your partner up tight and indulge in some steamy, slow sexy swing”.
